Rakuten trade is the first full-fledged online equity broker in Malaysia. In other words, investors who use Rakuten Trade are able to trade on Malaysia's stock exchange anywhere, anytime, as long as they have access to the internet. In this modern tech-savvy society, this is a huge selling point. So how do we help Rakuten Trade promote this?
One of the key challanges for Rakuten Trade was reaching out to the right audience
and making them take action of signing up on their platform.
Based on their challenges, we aimed to first promote awareness about Rakuten Trade and then
strategies to firther increase the number of signups for trading accounts on their platform.
We connected and analysed different data dots such as customer data, Google search trends, previous campaign results, Rakuten Trade's existing sales database, and many more to come up with a data-driven advertising strategy.
As Rakuten Trade wanted to reach out to the right audience, the first thing we did was categorise their audience into different segments. From there, we identified the most suitable platform and used different targeting and content strategies to reach them.
